The Challenge
A finance team member in a small company was responsible for monthly reporting but had built models organically over time — no consistent structure, formulas mixed with hardcoded values, and no clear separation of assumptions.
The Approach
Enrolled in the Basics course to build habits from scratch, then completed the Workshop to apply them to a real model under facilitator supervision. Used the annotated templates as a restructuring guide.
The Outcome
Monthly reporting model was rebuilt with clear input sections, labelled assumptions, and consistent formatting. Colleagues could now open and follow the file without a walkthrough. Month-end close time reduced noticeably.

The Challenge

The Challenge
A small business owner was managing budgets in a sprawling spreadsheet that only they could understand. Passing the file to a bookkeeper or adviser meant hours of explanation each time.
The Approach
Joined the Workshop to restructure the business budget model. Used the five sessions to rebuild it from the inputs section outward, with facilitator guidance on which assumptions to surface and how to format outputs.
The Outcome
Budget model rebuilt into a file the bookkeeper could open and use without a walkthrough. Owner could now update assumptions quickly and see the effect on outputs. Monthly review meetings became shorter and more focused.
