• "Content" refers to all course materials, templates, videos, documents, and other materials provided by Modelio.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms & Conditions in their current form.

2. ACCEPTANCE

Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry form, enrolling in a course, or using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation.

3. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

What We Offer

Modelio provides educational courses on spreadsheet modeling, including a self-paced course, a facilitated workshop, and a comprehensive program. Specific details — including duration, format, and pricing — are described on our website and in course enrolment materials.

Our courses are delivered as general educational content. They do not constitute financial advice, investment advice, accounting advice, or any other form of regulated professional service. All content is informational and educational in nature.

4. ENROLMENT AND ACCOUNTS

Course Enrolment

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise agreed in writing. You are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of enrolment. Where course access requires login credentials, you are responsible for keeping those credentials secure.

5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

Your Obligations

As a participant or user, you agree to:

• Engage with course materials in good faith and for your own personal or professional learning
• Not share, reproduce, or distribute Modelio course materials without prior written permission
• Not record live sessions without explicit permission from the facilitator
• Treat facilitators and fellow participants with respect
• Provide accurate information when submitting enquiry or enrolment forms

Prohibited uses include using Modelio content for commercial redistribution, misrepresenting your enrolment status, or accessing course materials in a manner that exceeds the scope of your enrolment.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Ownership of Content

All course materials, templates, glossaries, exercises, and associated content are the intellectual property of Modelio. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own personal or professional development following enrolment.

You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or share course materials beyond your own use. This restriction applies during and after the course period.

7. PAYMENT TERMS

Fees and Payment

Course fees are denominated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Payment is due prior to course commencement unless otherwise agreed. We accept bank transfer and online payment via supported platforms. Full fees must be received to confirm a place in facilitated sessions.

We do not store payment card data. Payment processing is handled by third-party providers subject to their own terms and security practices.

8. ENROLMENT-SPECIFIC TERMS

Cancellation and Refunds

If you need to cancel your enrolment, please contact us as early as possible at [email protected]. Refund eligibility is assessed on a case-by-case basis, taking into account the timing of the cancellation request relative to the course start date and the costs already incurred.

Transfers to a future cohort may be available in lieu of a refund, subject to availability. No refunds are available once a course or program has commenced.

9. DISCLAIMERS

Educational Purpose Only

All content provided by Modelio is for general educational purposes only. Modelio does not represent that completing any course will produce specific professional outcomes, employment results, or financial results. The application of skills learned is the sole responsibility of the participant.

Courses are provided "as delivered" and we do not represent that content will be error-free, complete, or suitable for every professional context.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Limits on Our Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Modelio's liability for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific course in question.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your participation in our courses or use of our content, including but not limited to lost profits or business interruption.

11. INDEMNIFICATION

Your Responsibility

You agree to indemnify Modelio from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of course materials, or any act or omission that violates applicable law.

12. TERMINATION

Ending the Agreement

We reserve the right to remove a participant from a course without refund if they engage in conduct that disrupts the learning environment, breaches these terms, or engages in prohibited use of course materials.

You may cease using our website at any time. Where you have an active enrolment, please contact us to discuss your situation.

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Governing Law and Disputes

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from this Agreement that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, specifically those with jurisdiction over Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

14. GENERAL PROVISIONS

General

• Entire Agreement: This document, together with any enrolment confirmations, constitutes the full agreement between you and Modelio regarding the course.
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our written consent.
• Notices: Notices to us should be sent to [email protected].

15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Updates

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon publication on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify enrolled participants. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance.
